Bachman Turner Overdrive Head On
1975 RB
 |
A BTO/Randy Bachman classic. Probably known as the last solid effort from this Canadian Power Band. This recording has everything from the amazing guitar work of Blair Thorton on -Wild Spirit- to the heavily jazz influenced -Looking out for #1- which itself contains some incredible fretwork by Randy. Fred Turners vocals have never sounded more hearty and down to earth than the in the gut-wrenching -Wonch Take Me for a While-. Little Richard makes a guest appearance on -Take it Like a Man- with a piano solo that will have you playing "air-piano". You dont hear too much about the other songs from critics, but personally, I think the remaining songs (especially Randys -Find Out About Love- and -Stay Alive- are among his finest compositions.
This is an official European CD re-issue released in very limited quantities in Russia. Excellent sound quality, hard-to-find factory-pressed CD.
