Ian Tyson returns to the forefront of cowboy music with LIVE AT LONGVIEW. Recorded near the singer's home in the foothills of Southern Alberta, Canada, this is Ian's first live recording and mixes his best-known songs with a collection of new songs. These new songs include the cowboy narrative "Jerry Ambler" and "Sorta Together," a tune about a cowboy/rodeo circuit relationship. Ian also pay tribute to legendary cowboy Bob Fudge, on the tune appropriately titled "Bob Fudge." A unique storyteller, he's been called the best at representing the American cowboy culture and the unique lifestyle of those who love the west. LIVE AT LONGVIEW is the latest example of why Ian Tyson is "the premier songwriter of truly western music."
