THE GRUMPIES

Grumpy old souls don't need anybody

They really don't care if a happy comes or goes

They'd rather be alone than carry conversation

The weather's seldom good for the grumpy old soul

Say's who ?   Say's me !

Say's who ?   Says a grumpy !

Grumpy old souls hardly know that they are grumpy

They often think the happies are grumpier than them

Grumpies have headaches and other aches and pains

You can tell a grumpy by the number of complaints

                            Say's who ?   Say's me !

Say's who ?   the grumpies !

Grumpies and happies don't often like to mix

Each thinks the other has got to be sick

Grumpies can be happy and happies can be grumpy

They never know if one or the other plays tricks

Say's who ?   Say's me !

Say's who ?   ....

Grumpy old souls have been known to catch a happy

It's not something they like to brag about

Next time you see a grumpy don't forget to bring a mirror

Chances you'll find a tiny smile or pout

Say's who ?   Says me !

Say's who ?   Says uhh!!! a grumpy...

Say's who ?   mmmmm!!!  I don't know...
